3D Lipo and the 50-somethings
We’re Debbie and Ian the 50-somethings in the title of this post. We have recently started a course of 3D Lipo treatments and Rejuven have asked us to post our observations and progress on here.
People say that 50 is the new 40 so we like to think in the old terms of middle-aged-spread rather than the modern expression of obesity. Anyway, our BMI scores put us in the Overweight category so we’re, technically, not obese. We both have mainly desk-based jobs and like to go out for dinner with friends occasionally and like a glass of wine or two through the week. A pretty normal couple I’d imagine, just like a lot of you reading this blog.
We have both struggled with our weight for what seems an eternity. Debbie is a fan of the latest fad-diet while Ian goes to the gym ‘when time permitts’ but he picked up a case of tennis elbow at the start of December 2015 and was advised that the only cure was rest, so hasn’t been to the gym for 2-months!
We have mentioned weight above but 3D Lipo is not promoted as a weight loss treatment. However, if you achieve some Fat Loss we cannot see how you won’t also lose weight. Even if we don’t lose weight our Fat to Lean Mass ratio will change and that’s how BMI is measured isn’t it?
We’re booked in for 8 weeks and will be posting updates each week to let you know how it’s going.
Debbie & Ian.
